Global Entry

Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Global Entry membership allows travelers to enter the United States with minimal delay, using an automated kiosk rather than a customs officer to scan their passports and fingerprints. The Global Entry program was established as part of the Trade Act of 2002, which authorized the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency to expedite travel by low-risk individuals through customs screening at participating airports when they arrive in or depart from the United States To be eligible for Global Entry, you must be a citizen and have had your fingerprints taken at an application center (located in major international airports) within the last two years The Global Entry Program is an expedited screening process that allows pre-approved, low-risk travelers to enter the United States after completing an application, undergoing a background check and paying a $100 fee.
